Open Letter to the Superintendent

Mr. Sebert –
Stop gaslighting the “stakeholders” and hiding behind a policy that is being implemented in a discriminatory manner at YOUR direction. Despite the attempt in your letter to deflect responsibility for the most recent debacle, as the top administrator in our school district, the buck ultimately stops with YOU. Step up and take responsibility for your actions, the actions directed by the current board, and the actions of your staff who under YOUR explicit written direction have been told to remove “controversial” issues from the educational environment, that YOU (and the board) have erroneously interpreted to include rainbows. Better yet, do us all a favor and resign. Your lack of effective leadership, including poor decision making and inability to accept responsibility, has become an embarrassment to the school district and the community at large.
